Q: HIV from handjob with vaginal fluid

I'm going to explain in great detail what I experienced in order to form a clear picture.

A girl and I were making out, she mentioned that she was "wet" and touched her vagina, sticking one finger inside. She then put that finger into her mouth . A few minutes later she washed her hands. Then a few minutes after that she performed a handjob on me, with lube. I ejaculated. As far as I could tell there were no open cuts on her hand. She also did not use her saliva in any way. I had recently shaved my genitals, including the base of my penis, and I noticed there were a few small cuts, very small openings, more like slightly ingrown hairs actually.

My question is, am I at risk? What are the chances that she could have transmitted HIV to me, assuming she had it?

For HIV to occur, there has to be a fluid HIGH in HIV. This includes semen, vaginal fluids, blood and for children breast milk.

There has to be an activity. Unprotected sex, sharing dirty needles, child birth and breast milk.

Then there has to be a way into the bloodstream like cuts, tears, sore or puncture. Remember the virus is very tiny.

Also, HIV dies 30 seconds to a minute after it leaves the body.

Hope these is helpful.

Well if the virus dies 30 seconds to a minute after it leaves the body then it shouldn't be a problem since at least 5 minutes past from the time she touched to herself to the time she touched me. So even if there were any openings on my penis and even if she had the virus, most likely it would have died by then. Interesting.

In regards to breast milk, what if I were to have my mouth on the woman's nipples? I tasted something but it might have just been her skin. As far as I could tell there was nothing coming out of her breasts. Is that a high risk? Or would it be difficult for the hypothetical virus in the hypothetical breast milk to enter my bloodstream through my mouth, since I don't really have any deep cuts or bleeding gums etc?

I read about your outcome elsewhere. Very good.

The breast milk is for babies. They drink so much milk in a very long period of time and they become infected through teething process. It is not for adults. Or so I hope.

Hi Muthoni,

Sorry for my question

How can you know that HIV will be dead in 30 seconds to a minute after it leaves the body?

I had a similar case

Outside the body HIV is a very weak virus and simply cannot live. Its different from other viruses such as the flu or herpes. Where the flu can be caught by being in the presence of someone who is sick, HIV cannot be transmitted that way. Same with herpes where it is transmitted from skin to skin contact HIV cannot be transmitted that way either. So if you did have a similar experience you shouldn't worry because the virus would be dead before it even got on your body.

If you used the condom properly and it did not break, you are safer. Condoms are not 100% in keeping infection away. It has to be the right size. Not too big, not too small.

Latex condoms have smaller holes than HIV itself.

I use latex condoms for that reason. If you are allergic to latex condoms, it is recommended that you were a sheep skin condom and then a latex condom.

Things can get rough during sex without lubrication and the condom may break. It is recommended that one uses lubrication to keep things moving smoothly. Very Happy

HIV is a very tiny virus. If you use latex condom, it is safer than other type of condom. However it is not 100% safe.HIV virus cannot live by its own.If the virus leaves the body it cannot live long. The virus die in 30s? I thought is 5 min.
