Q: HIV contraction via cut finger

Hypothetically speaking, if one (male) with an open and bleeding wound on his finger were to engage in manual stimulation of one female and for all intensive purposes of this query, the female in question would be HIV positive, what would the results be? Would a test taken by the male 3-6 months afterwards most likely be positive? I have posted to numerous other medical sites and none have responded. Please, I am hoping for an objective response.

It is definitely possible to get HIV that way. You would not be able to tell unless you got tested. If you contracted HIV that way and never got tested it could take a decade for any symptoms to show up.Testing for the virus is the only way to know for sure.
