If a person has genital herpes and hiv, would their herpes outbreaks be worse/more frequent?

HIV infection affects the immune system by decreasing its potential to deal with pathogens including Herpes simplex virus which causes genital herpes. Thus, the rate of herpes outbreaks might increase once the immune system is weakened.
