Q: HIV and genitournary tract infections

hi,
my name is bob.Im studying 4th year medicine.please help with these problems,i had sex with sexworker 5 months before.i tested hiv 2 times in 7th week and about 12th week its negative.and also i tested chlamydia syphillis and urithritis came back negative at 4th month.but i have colourless sticky discharge from my penis after a long sleep before urination.only after a long urination other time it wont.i dont feel any burning sensation no swelling no frequent urination anything at all.im very afraid it because it due to some STD i cant concentrate in other works i cant study at all.please help me with this.its freaking me out.HELP ME

You might be experiencing an infection of the genitourinary tract. the lack of burning sensation, edema and frequent urination indicate that the possible infection is not severe. A urine culture and sperm culture with antibiogram would determine if there is any bacterial infection and the best antibiotic that should be prescribed by a urologist.

HIV tests are usually done in first, third and sixth month after exposure. Seroconversion occurs even after six months. So, an HIV test six months after exposure would be recommended, too.
