HIV and AIDS Answer A4928
HIV destroys the human’s immune system so, theoretically, if you replace the damaged immune system with a new one, which is naturally resistant to HIV, you can cure the HIV infection. All immune cells originate from the bone marrow so bone marrow transplantation is, in fact, replacement of the immune system.
