Q: HIV and Antibiotics

I just found out that I was HIV three days ago. I have been really stressed and fatigued. A couple days later I had to go to the doctor for what I thought was an insect bite on my left ear lobe. It was explained to me that for some reason I have an infection in my ear lobe. I was prescribed an antibiotic and an ointment cream. Will the antibiotic work?
I have not got all the information back on how far along the HIV in my body has come along. I have to wait a couple weeks. I'm afraid that taking the antibiotic will increase the affects of the virus.

Yes, it will work. Antibiotics work very well with HIV people...no different than with HIV- people.Dont stress if you can help it.I have had HIV for many many years and as long as you eat right and rest and exercise and take your meds religiously you should be fine and life a long long life.
