had left hip total replacement surgery approximately 10 weeks ago..
healing and recovering very well...no problems with recovery, strength, mobility, weight bearing etc...........
question....my left leg is now three quarters of a inch longer than my right leg, and they were both even before the surgery.
my surgeon gave me an answer as to why the difference in length, but it really didnt make any sence to me (the answer), or should I say made sounded like an good explanation, but didnt quiet cover my concern over the (what I considered) extreme length of the left leg vs. the right leg............
anyone care to share a comment?

My husband had this surgery a year ago July...After the surgery the Orthopedist, came down to speak with me and our son....He told us that the surgery took a bit longer because he had to make sure that both legs matched and they were the same length...Hopefully everything will work out fine for you...However, I question if one leg is longer won't this pull on the other hip and cause pain?...Please understand that these are just my thoughts and inasmuch as you asked for a comment, I am giving mine...Good luck...
