I'm 21 and i have much pain coming from my lower back/hip area. It hurts to bend down, even walking and driving is difficult. It seems that every time i move some part of my lower body it triggers that same pain in my lower back/hip area. I'm quite worried. I know of many people having hip pain, but it is usually due to arthritis. Could it be hip bursitis? I do have the habit of popping my hip occasionally when i stand up after sitting down for a long time. My father is a pediatrician, so i called him, who is on the other side of the Atlantic, and told me to see a specialist. I'm currently living abroad, and in the process of completing my paper work. IN the meantime, what do you suggest?

Hip Pain
It could very well be bursitis. I installed new flooring in my kitchen last August and in October I packed (helped) 2 cord of wood and by January 1st I was at the Dr. because I could barely walk or move my arms. After 4 months of severe pain and Physical Therapy and pain pills I saw a Rheumatologist and found out it was bursitis in both hip joints and shoulders. She gave me cortisone shots in all joints and I am doing better. Since I was in pain for so long it will take longer to heal. Don't waste any time, see a Dr.Good Luck
