Hello. My son is 9 years old. His blood test results were: TSH:8.05uIU/ml, T4:6.36ug/dl, Cholesterol:294mg/dl. Pls note that his father has the same problems (high TSH with normal T3 and T4, and high cholesterol). I would like to know if my son has to take any medicine for his case, and if his case has a connection of him being shorter than his age knowing that the Somatomedin-C(IGF1) result was normal (353 ng/ml). Thank you.
