For the past 9 months I have been experiencing numerous symptoms that I fear are related. Up to this point, I have been extremely healthy. I moved into an old fixer-upper house 2 yrs ago. We suspect water (25 foot well) or mold problems. About a year ago I started having problems, but didn't really connect them to the house until my son was having similar problems. I immediately went to the DR and found that I have high protoporphrine levels that are indicative of toxins. The symptoms are my hands and feet fall asleep often, it is very painful to walk numerous times during the day (especially after rest), they are hot to the touch sometimes, and sweat all of the time now, which has never happened before. I am a 52 year old female. The other thing that concerns me is I have minor pains in my armpits, like gland issues??? My Dr. seems to think they are all unrelated and has numerous explanations, without remedy. Not sure I'm buying it. I would truly appreciate appropriate advise. I have also been told that my case is "interesting" and it is not good to be "interesting" in the medical community. Scary. Thank you.
