Q: High protein and genital warts ?

Hi a couple months ago i was diagnoised with genital herpes. i told my boyfriend and jus a few days ago we finally took him to the doctor too. the dr told him he has genital warts! i got the hpv shot about almost 2 years ago im wondering if the hpv shot sent off some kind of chemical and gave warts to my bf or is that not even possible... he said thats wat the dr said but i wasnt in the room so i dont kno if its true cuz it doesnt sound possible. also, the dr also said he was a high protein count in his urine would genital warts cause that?
i really need so feedback im stressed.

The explanation you got from your boyfriend isn't possible to happened.
With HPV vaccination you are protected for the most common HPV strains that cause genital warts.
The same vaccine has effect in males, too (but, before being exposed to the virus).
It is good to know that the incubation period (period between being infected and initial symptoms) for genital wart is between 3 months and 2 years.
Proteins in urine can result from benign factors as fever, intense activity or exercise, dehydration, emotional stress or it can indicate more serious conditions like kidney problems.
