high co2 when given oxygen. blood oxygen drops?

male 58 low oxygen levels high co2 when given oxygen. blood oxygen drops!! the doctors at this clinick don`t understand this.
does anbody know where to ask for assistance on this??

high levels of supplemental oxygen theoretically can suppress your respiratory drive (slow your breathing down). Unfortunately, when your breathing becomes too slow, you retain CO2 (hypercapnia). This effect is mainly worried about in people with pre-existing states of CO2 retention: COPD, obesity, ascites, any disease causing diaphragm weakness, etc.
