Hey,

I started taking this supplement called NO-xplode a year ago and i developed chest pain, high blood pressure, shortness of breath, dizziness and heartbeats. I went to the doctors a few times and did exercise stress test, blood tests and CT scan. My first blood test showed the potassium level and creatine kinase level was high but my second blood test showed everything is back to normal. However, i still have these weird chest discomfort and heart palpitations. My CT scan showing no blockage of arteries.

This supplement contains many caffeine and stimulants, I took it for 2-3 months and i stopped once I had these symptoms. It has almost been a year now and these symptoms are still here.

What do you think my problem is? I am tired all the time. Could this be anxiety or is there something wrong with my heart? Someone please help me. I am only 20 years old.

Please tell me whats wrong
Thanks, Ricky

Palpitations, or abnormal heart rhythm is usually associated with symptoms like chest discomfort, shortness of breath, dizziness or light-headedness.

When experiencing these symptoms, is very important to examine the hearts function and structure completely.
Since the CAD (blocked heart arteries) was excluded, you may need to be performed an ECG and echocardiogram to check for heart muscle condition and if there are some valvular changes.
If these test came fine, you should be performed blood tests for thyroid gland functioning (hyperthyroidism) and testing catecholamines and metanephrines in plasma or through a 24-hour urine collection, for pheochromocytoma, an adrenal gland tumor.
Palpitations are indeed symptom of panic disorders, but, can be symptom of anemia, too.
Anemia is manifested with all of the above mentioned symptoms, chest pains, dizziness, shortness of breath, fatigue, palpitations.

Best wishes!
