hi my husband has been diagnosed with a hiatus hernia and oesophagitis today by endoscopy. They have took biopsy which results will take 2wks. He is 28, 9 stone has a reasonably healthy diet does not smoke, or drink much either. He was put on antacids, anti sickness tablets and antibiotics the first 3 wks which all came up whole so the doc took him of them til the endoscopy. Everything he eats or drinks comes back up even the nutrient drinks and when he eats little and often. Will the ppis work? Do you think there could be more underlying to this problem as no one mentions being sick as a sympton not constantly anyway. He has been sick for the last 9 wks more than 4 times a day and has no energy some days and has even stopped working at the minute. Will this continue or will it settle when he stars the ppis or will the biopsies perhaps reveal more? Thanks for any help or info.
