I have a hiatal hernia. I have major acid reflux and heart palpitations. How long did it take for a doctor to diagnose you? It took me five years. I need some major comfort. Am I alone here? Whats your story???? How do I feel better???

Hiatal hernia is a risk factor for developing an acid reflux issue, but in many people hiatal hernia can go asymptomatic.
When the symptoms of acid reflux aren't getting better with drug treatment and life style changes, a surgery for correcting the hernia is usually suggested.
