Hi,

I'm 17 years old and am roughly 5'4. I'm considering taking HGH to see if that would give me a few inches. Should I wait a couple more years and see if I grow? It should be noted that I hit puberty at an early age which is why I've lost hope.

HGH (Human Growth Hormone) is the hormone produced by the pituitary gland, which is located in the center of the human brain. The pituitary gland is the master gland of endocrine system. The pituitary gland secretes human growth hormone, which supports a variety of physiological functions of the human body. HGH hormone enhances tissue growth by stimulating protein formation. Effects of growth hormone on the tissues of the body can generally be described as anabolic (building up).

Pituitary GlandThe HGH play important role in many segments of our life. The HGH effect is beneficial for our muscle mass, fat level, bone density, skin shape, memory, heart, immune system, vitality, mood etc. In fact it is easier to mention what the Human Growth Hormone does not affect.

The HGH production occurs on several peaks during the day. The largest of these Human Growth Hormon peaks occurs during the sleeps, while our brain is the delta brain state.

The HGH hormone play important role during our whole life. During the childhood it grows our body. During the adulthood it maintain our body. Unfortunately, as we age the production of HGH hormone declines. At the age of 50 we lose about half of our HGH production.
