hey ive been doing research on hgh and IGF-1 for about a month or so now and I want to know if its the right thing for me. first, let me give you a quick bio...

im 20 yrs old, 6'1", 140 lbs. i know i am skinny, but i am also pretty healthy and have never had a problem being athletic. i just want to get bigger and look better overall (fit clothes better, not look ridiculous with my shirt off, better self confidence, maybe clean up some of the damage of cigarettes to my skin, etc..).

i want to know if HGH and/or IGF-1 will help me do this. i'd like to be an average weight for a guy my height..not quite sure what that would be but like i said, im not in bad shape...just really skinny. ive read a lot about HGH and planned on taking the releasers for 6 months or so to see what happens..but i just started reading about IGF-1 and for some reason its hard to get an answer i can understand online, as everything i read has 90% words that mean nothing to my brain...probably should have payed attention in school.

anyways..is either worth it or would either of them work on gaining weight and overall improving my health. ive heard good things about HGH releasers and im just not interested in anything that is as serious as roids...kind of confused as to if its even worth it or if it will work how i think it will. thanks everyone...

I don't quite know about growth hormones and their side effects, you said you have done the research for the past month, so you probably know about that. From my experience though, that is a tricky path you are taking, since you would have to deal with all the bull products out there. Even more so, what I've gathered over the years when it comes to attaining a physical aspect, anything that provides a faster means of achieving it is never any good for you long term. Whether it's penis enlargement, low cal dieting, stacking up on roids, etc.

It is your choice of course however, but why not try to get bigger the real way, working out. There is no real reason for you to get bigger quicker within a limited amount of time is there, other then that you don't want to spend the time and hard work. If you ever did attempt to work out, and your response to this last comment of mine is "I've tried it already, or I've tried everything, etc", chances are, no, you have not.

Good luck with your decision. Hope you don't regret it in the end. I would say it is not worth it.

yes i have worked out before using high protein/carb diets, muscle milk, creatine, etc...i did have muscle growth, however i guess im wanting to be thicker, not just ripped. id like my whole body to actually grow naturally; possibly by produciing more HGH which is something everyone produces. it determines our size, what we look like, etc... based on many factors. one of these factors (i have heard) is malnutrition. i was always fed but always hungry as i grew up pretty poor when i was in my teens...so im thinking i just didnt get enough proteins and other things that would have given me more size in my growing stage......................however i could be COMPLETELY wrong but thats why im here.

thanks for the response!

Well the thing about wanting to get bigger with HGH...

Wouldn't you potentially get taller too, along with thickness? So then... proportionately... you'd still be the same, just a taller version?

A few thoughts....

You are only 20 years old. Learn how to eat rigth and workout efficiently first and foremost. Second only experienced lifters who have a regimented plan and diet for atleast 3 years are the only ones who shoudl even consider steroids or growth hormones. Third, I doubt any 20 yr old can afford HGH or IGF-1. You are looking at about $1300 every 6 weeks and the fact is HGH doesn't start working to its peak until after 6 months straight of use. IGF-1 is a drug that is mainly used as post cycle therapy for steroid users when they come off the roids and want to bring their body back to producing testosterone efficiently on its own again all while keep their gains on the cycle. IGF-1 costs around $600 for 8-10 week cycle I think.

Overall though you are way to young to start this and notdoing it the right way along with the wrong diet and workout regimine is just stupid in my opinion. Lets get you some education on nutrition and workouts first! You may be surpised what eating the right foods and portions will do to your body. let me know if you need or want assistance on that.
