Results of CT scan show a heterogeneous mass in the tail of my pancreas. From what I understand, this means that the mass consists of a bunch of different "stuff". I'll be having an MRI in the next couple of days to find out what exactly this mass consists of. My question is: am I looking at surgery to remove this mass no matter what it is?
