i had my first genital herpes outbreak and
my doctor prescribed me with 10 days worth
of valtrex. all my symptoms have
disappeared and i was wondering when i
would be able to have protected sex again?
im still taking my pills regularily but
should i wait until i finish the whole
prescription? thanks ..

If all sores have healed completely,
you're fine for having protected sex. Just
remember that you can transmit herpes to
your partner regardless of whether or not
you're having an outbreak.
