My girlfriend preformed oral sex on me about a year ago, and about a week later I noticed a small white bump on my left side of my shaft. I was afraid to go to the doctor back then, because i never knew that herpes could be such a big concern. Nevertheless, i noticed that my girlfriend had something on her lip as well, but it wasn't a cluster of blister around her mouth or anything. It was difficult to describe. Now this part is strange, as i took hot shower the small white bump was more visible and as the days went by the bump got slightly bigger and bigger. After three days of stressing out, I touched it while I was taking a hot shower and it fell off...Strange enough. I have not had a single sign of herpes since then. Please help me. I'm lost.

If this is helpful, i took a blood test and it said that i was negative for HSV-2 but positive for HSV-1. Yet i knew that i would be positive because i had cold sores before on my mouth.

it's a possiblity that what you had on your penis wasnt from herpes. you should never be scared to go to the doctor because you can find what's wrong with you and treat it early.
if you have hsv1 just keep abreava near you so when you have an outbreak you can shorten its duration.
