My boyfriend has three hernia's all in the abdomanal area. Lately he has been getting violently sick, and then feeling fine soon after. Could this have something to do with the hernias and should we be worried?

It is possible that he is experiencing intermittent intestinal obstruction due to one or more of these hernias. If so, then he should certainly have these hernias repaired, and soon.
