i had a ventral hernia repair a year ago in May. the lump never really went away. i was out of work for 3 weeks because the hernia was much bigger than what the doctor thought so the surgery took longer time and more incisions. even after the surgery the nod remained visible and I still felt it. I have been having like a pulling pain around it the past week. I still feel it and see it. I'm worry. i saw a new doctor which told me the hernia still there. I refused to believe it. the surgeon told me after the surgery that it will take about 6 months for the nod to disappear that there was fluid build around it and that was what i was feeling. it has been over a year. I dont know what to think.
