Hernia changing sides ?

I was playing golf the day before..I was doing alot of being over and picking up the ball. Later that night I noticed a strain like feeling in my pelvic region. I thought it would go away, but it didn''t overnight. I am a weightlifter and an athlete in general. Hoping it was only a strain, I worked out that day. It bothered me on a couple exercises and was irritated that night. This morning I woke up and I can''t really feel it on the same side but now it''s on ANOTHER side of my pelvis yet I can minorly feel it on the other side. My honest opinion I think it''s a hernia, but why would it change places like that overnight? I really hope it''s not.

Well, if you do have a hernia, it would not migrate to the other side of your abdomen or pelvis (although it is possible to have bilateral hernias). In the absence of a bulge in these painful areas, it is also possible that you may have just strained the tissues in this area. However, since I cannot examine you, you should schedule a visit with your doctor for an evaluation.
