The doctor recomended surgery, as soon as posible...but I still hope there is an other alternativ to our case. Also he says that we should go to Austria to make this surgery. Can anybody help me? Extremely eHealthy
Inguinal hernias or groin hernias are most common in kids, especially boys.
They don't improve on their own, and a minor surgery to repair the hernia is usually recommended, to avoid possible complication of persisting hernia.
Therapy for an undescended testicle should begin between six months and two years of age and may consist of hormone or surgical treatment.
An undescended testicle is a reason for other testicular problems, among which is inguinal hernia.
The hernia should be repaired at the time of orchiopexy, surgery for descending the testicle into the scrotum.

Surgery is important to be performed as soon as possible to avoid certain complications.
Best wishes!

Please do not let the doctors use any kind of mesh on your son to repair his hernia, he's young enough that they can do the old fashion repair.

Best Wishes
