First, I have hereditary hemo cromotosis(high iron). I do not know if this is related. For the last several months, only when I lay down to go to bed and in the night, I get ,hard to explain, it feels like a quick poke in my head. NO real pain, but when I get the poke, it distorts sounds, I have a fan running, it changes the sound of it for that split second poke, and it wakes me right up. I believe I have either a tumor, or a mineral deposit, I do have hard water that I drink a lot of. But I don't understand why it doesn't happen when I am standing or sitting. Please tell me what you think. I have not told a doctor yet, because if I get cat scans, the radiation will give me brain cancer anyway because I am highly susceptable to it with the high iron.
