Q: Here we go again

We are in the hospital again! Luke has a cough that he just can't shake. It totally sucks because I had stuff planned for all next week.

Anyways, pray that this won't be a 2 week stay. We have to wait a few days until the culture results come back but until then we are stuck here.

I am going to die of boredom.

Oh, and this trip it only took 3 tries to get an iv in him (that was sarcastic).

Thanks guys. We still don't know what is going on but last night they mentioned the docs talking about a picc line. Oh great! That means that they want him to have 2 maybe more weeks of iv therapy. I am hoping that since they are giving a picc that we can take him home and do therapy there.

Luke is being a trooper! All the nurses fall in love with him. This time we are by the nurses station so I can here them talking about him. Somehow I birthed a charmer.

Anyways, I will try to keep you guys updated but I haven't really felt like updating because that means that I have to type. I guess that when you sit on your butt all day you get super lazy.

Oh, and it is beau-ti-ful here. Yesterday Dan and I walked out to get something for lunch and I sorta got depressed because we are downtown Chicago on the first awesome day of the year but we can't do anything because poor Luke man is in the hospital. I will be so happy when he is feeling better and I can take him to the zoo. Did I tell you that we are within walking distance to one of the nicest zoos in Chicago? Yup, are my little man can't go.

Oh man, I just realized that I sound very complainey! I am sorry and I am going to try and be more happy.

Talk later!

crap. We aren't going home today. Instead we are going to be getting Luke a PICC today and then going on home on iv meds. I think that I can handle it and it HAS to be better than here.

Now I just have to deal with a cranky baby that wants to eat. He can't eat because they have to put him under to receive the PICC.
