I've been battling depression for 18 years. i am very interested in what herbs really works. i really want to hear success stories and not statistics about taking st.johns worth or htp-5 and they're depression is cured or they feel better afterward.

Actually....
I have a suggestion for you. Read up on The true hope foundation and a book called A promise of hope. They offer a specific and high dose of vitamins called EMPowerplus.
My mother, who just likes researching things and knowing about alternative medicine, first read about it and told me. I then later found out that my best friend had gone off antidepressants and is trying these pills. She says they work more than wonders. And I promise you, it's all just vitamins.

Try L-theanine, it seems to work very well. Or smoke weed or whatever... that always works too.

yes the weed
See everyone suggests weed. Its true, it helps a ton. Not sure why its still this illegal. But I think after that long of a depression, the weed might just mask it. I say try the vitamins....at least read up on them. I promise, its a chance!
