If your partner (who is Hep C positive) acquired a scratch (on his penis)during sexual intercourse, which bled during intercourse, of course some of his blood could have been deposited into the uterus. Condoms were not used because the woman is on birth control & they have been a couple for several years. During this incident the woman was not menstruating. Can the Hep C virus be contracted? Would the infected blood be able to enter the woman's blood stream through the uterine wall? Your help with this question is greatly appreciated.

If indeed your partner is infected with Hep C, they need to do everything possible to not transfer this to you. His blood is infected with this virus and therefore can be transfered to you during sex. He knows he has Hep C, yet did not wear a condom in order to prevent you from taking a chance?????Why take that risk? Sharing toothbrushes, nail clippers, razors....and especially sex is RISKY.....I'd have a blood test asking to be tested for this immediately.
