hi there,
i am not sure if this is the right forum for me. i have been feeling fully full even with an empty stomach for two months now. i have been bloated and experiencing a lot of discomfort in the right upper part of my abdomen. two months ago, i had an ultrasound of my abdomen and it revealed: hepatic steatosis/fatty liver. my doctor advised me to lose some weight and come back in three months time.
i have also been diagnosed of Irritable Bowel Syndrome last month and taking colofac.
i am still bloated. i become conscious of my tummy. i keep trying to feel it and sometimes i find the right side of my tummy is slightly harder than the other side. i sometimes also think it is slightly bigger than the left side.
when i try to lie flat on the floor slowly (as i do it), i could see my stomach sticking out like a small round ball. when i try to press my stomach, i can feel a little pain. the discomfort i feel everyday is from the right side of my stomach in line to where my liver is. the pain used to radiate to my back. the ultrasound of my gall bladder, pancreas, kidneys, aorta are all normal.
what do you think is causing my bloating? and the discomfort in my right upper abdomen?
thank you for reading

same as above
It would be great to shed some light on the comment above. I think a lot of people suffer from this. I feel like there is no real information on fatty liver and it can really make life uncomfortable; hidden pain.
