Q: Hemrrhoids after Fistulotomy

Hi, I had a fistulotomy about two years ago. It has since healed up very well, no problems with it. However, due to the scar being inside somewhat, it occasionally causes minor hemroids to form on the other side (from the rubbing I assume). It is not very bothersome and I rarely need to do it, but I was wondering if it's okay to continue using a natural, homepathic cream for basically the rest of my life? Is there any risk in this? I use it maybe 2-3 times per week, not that much at all. Thanks!

I would ask your Pharmacist their opinion...They are very knowledgeable on these answers...I have found that they knew more than the doctor on these facts...Not that the doctor is not learned, but that they just don't have the time to read every new thing that is coming out...Personally, I think you would be fine...My husband had this same surgery about 30 years ago with somewhat the same problems...He is now doing great

Regards,
Caroline
