I have had this hemorrhoid since I can remember, but it's always just been around after a BM and then goes away shortly after. I was happy with that but one day I woke up and found it was still there long after my last BM, and it's been there permanently since. One time, about three years ago, it stayed swollen for three days and then went back to normal. Now it's been four days and I'm starting to worry it will never go away. Is this normal for hemorrhoids to come and go like this? I haven't noticed anything different in what I've been doing these past four days; Is there something I can do to make it go away and become "dormant" again?
