OMG was I misdiagnosed!! I have a huge annal fissure. I am going on my 11th day of no work and extreme pain. Using ointment froom Dr. but only relief is sitting on ice and not moving around.. Any suggestions from anyone. Has anyone had the botox therapy to help heal this evil thing?

do not used ice or cold water. That makes it worse because it will bring it out. Use warm water instead. That happened to me. I was using cold water to cool off and made it worse. It came out of the anus and now I just had surgery 1 month ago. I am still in pain when I use the bathroom. I have to be using lodacaine for the pain to numb the area. But it is a painful surgery. I taught I was going to die of pain when I woke up from that surgery and the next couple of day.
