I am 5 days post op and have had 1.5 plum size clots in the last hour. I have severe bleed for an hour there, and had to change my thick pad every 10 min. The on call doc said "go to ER for __something sized__ clots," and rushed off the phone b/c she had an emergency surgery to do, so I don't know. The last 45 min has been slowing down, but still moderate saturation on the pad. Should I go to sleep now? Will I know if I am bleeding out from another one of these episodes that have such a quick onset? I don't wanna wake up in a pool.
