Q: bruising and spotting after sex

ok well my period ended about a week ago and well my bf and i messed around about 2 days ago well after messing around my vaginal area became bruised, black and blue, then if that wasnt enough i started spotting today like i was beginning my period again. is this something i should be concerned about or is it normal? scared
