Hi!

I am new to the forum and really want to help my husband!

He is only 26 and after having an appendectomy 5 years ago, he has had an overactive bladder. Although the operation at the time seemed to go fine (although he was in there for over 2 hours instead of 40 mins as I was told at the time) he is constantly going to the toilet and has a pressure type feeling build up even though he hasn't had a huge intake of fluids.

We have been the doctor countless times and although the medication work to stop his bladder being so active, after a few months it always comes back! It is making him very depressed.

I have asked for his medical notes to see if anything can shed a light as I really want to help him.

Any advice or comments would very welcomed!!

Thank you!

Hi overactivebladder and welcome to ehealth: I would make an appointment with an Urologist...They specialize in this sort of problem...Hopefully you will find some resolve with him/her looking into it...Good luck...
