My partner and i have been trying to conceive for the last few months with no success, do anyone have any hints or tips to give us a hand. We have intercourse around ovulation day, eat well, dont smoke nor drink and are beginning to think there may be a problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It can take up to a year or more to get pregnant, so don't be so worried that it hasn't happened yet. A couple isn't considered infertile until they've been unsuccessful for 18 months.

You can look up tips online (just make sure the websites are reliable looking). They'll say things about having him wear boxers, not having sex too often (target the right time and let him build up enough sperm for maximum success), and not being under stress. Remember, this isn't a job or a project. You are creating a beautiful life with someone you love. It will happen when it happens. Just be calm and enjoy the process rather than putting so much pressure on it.

I would also recommend that since you are trying to get pregnant, you should go to your OBGYN and get your prenatal vitamins and start taking those. You should also ask about any vaccinations you need to get before you get pregnant (some are very important for pregnant women, but some can't be given during the actual pregnancy).

Good luck.

Definately go see your respective doctors about this. verify you're producing healty ovum and that his sperm count is sufficient. If there are problems on either end your doctors can give you apropriate advice and if there's bad news at least you're not beating your head against the headboard trying to make something happen if it can't.
