Hi there

I am at a bit of loss. My new man who is really lovely (we've been together 2 months) can't cum? He stays hard for ages (he's nearly 50) seems like he's enjoying making love with me but yet when he's about to cum, nothing comes out?

He says it's happened before. He is diabetic. Do you think it's because of the shots he has to take?

When I ask him to see the doc he says why? there are more important things in life! I suppose he's got a point, neither of us wants anymore kids anyway (we have 8 between us!) and the sex is AMAZING Razz

Do you think it's psychological? Please advise. Thanx.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Delayed ejaculation has many causes. Diabetes causes mostly erection problems, delayed ejaculation can be relieved with reducing coital frequency to once a week, avoiding any antidepressant in medications and consulting a sex therapist.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
