Hello JFresh,

Welcome to the forum. You're going to be a young mom, but I'm sure you already know that. You don't have to hear it from me. Being that you are still in high school, how do you plan on supporting your baby?

Well I'm going to start work during the summer, and my boyfriend already has a job. I also do little side things like fixing people's computers and running little errands (not like that's such a big thing, lol). But I know I'm totally not ready for a baby, but I'm not too thrilled with adoption, although I have looked into it.

Well, just the fact that you're admitting that you're not really ready shows that you are mature enough to know it's not going to be easy. Sometimes adoption is the answer but that's something you would have to be totally ok with. Do you live with family? Are they willing to help you?

I live with my mom, who is willing to help me. Also, my boyfriend's parents are there. His mom can't wait to have her first grandchild Shocked

That's wonderful that you have both parents willing to help. Keep us posted and ask any questions you want about babies. Mine are almost grown, 18 & 19 years old, but I can still give you some advice if you need. I'm sure your mom and boyfriend's parents are ready with the advice too. Good luck! I wish you years of happiness!

Hi JFresh ns welcome to the forum..Honey you sound like you have had to grow up kinda fast being pregnant and that you are thinking things out shows strength in character..You brought up adoption andsaid not too thrilled with that..Re adoption should you go that route there are agencies that help you find a couple that can't have children and are willing to help you financially over the hurdle of expense during pregnancy and after wards..What ever you do I hope you and your boyfriend and familes will grow from this experience and become stronger for it..

JFresh,

You sound like such a sweetheart. Just from reading your post I think whatever decision you make will be the right one. I'm happy to hear you have a good support system. So many young people don't have that so it's a special thing. I wish you much luck!
