First of all I would like to introduce myself . My name Robert im 20 years old and Im from Latvia. This is quite silly but already i have to apologize . I don't know where to post my question , I read through all forum sub forms but don't know where to post it.So i'll just get to the point ,ok? I was on accutane(roaccutane) for 4 months when i encountered topics regarding the real side effects of this drug . I had enough of reading a few to quit since i feel some of them . My heart runs much quicker then normal but then again Im able to jog and exercise now just like always and my vision has gotten a bit foggy. Could some one advise me how to reduce the awful side effects and make this terrible drug leave my body faster ? Question Question Rolling Eyes

Hello, Robert37. Welcome to ehealthforum.
Unfortunately, I don't know of any medically proven way to rid the system of Accutane. How long have you been off the medicine? In time, it should flush out of your system without any help. For more assistance you can repost in the Acne and Skin Disorders Forum. (I'm assuming you were taking Accutane for acne.) You can also type "Accutane" into the gray search box at the top left to read similar posts.

Robert, did you quit the accutane cold turkey? The side effects are somewhat severe for some. My son was on it and he had the same problem racing heart. He played football and he had to be weaned off it. Let me know how things are going. It does take awhile for it to get out of your system. That is why they run blood tests to make sure your levels do not get out of hand.
