Just call me Orca. Smile

As my name suggests, I like orcas (killer whales).

I'm hoping to get input from other people and talk about my problems. And help others, too.

Here's a couple of my issues:

My right knee has been slowly feeling more pain over the past couple days, and I have not hurt it in any way recently. It's also painful to crouch down on my knees (there's less pain when I do it really slowly). This can't be good, as I'm still pretty young. Even now as I sit on this chair, the knee is bent and it hurts; I straighten it, and it still hurts. I'm going to elevate it tonight on some pillows with a cold pack to see if that helps at all.

I also have a B-12 deficiency (I can't absorb it the natural way). I have to have it injected in me once a month for the rest of my life.

Hi, Orca. Welcome to ehealth forum!
I'm sorry to hear you're having problems with your knee. I sprained my kneecap once trying to place a heavy load on a bottom shelf so I know your pain. I iced it to reduce the swelling, popped iobuprofens and applied a heating pad. All of these things really helped.
I hope your problem is resolved soon.
