Hi I just recently today in the last couple of hours have an extreme welt on my foot and it is red I have never seen this before what could this be and the welt is big and around the surrondings it is red any suggestions??????
I am not on any medications..........

welts are usually caused by bugs and try not to stratch because it could break the skin and cause infection..im sure its gone though b.c of the date yoour questiion was posted
