I just got off my "cycle" and it was just odd all the way around. First it was early, then spotted for 1 day, stopped for 3, then it hit me hard, cycle normally last 7 days with cramping only at the beginning. But on day 6 cramping was so hard I could barely stand and walk, was bleeding heavily, was clotting real bad and passed one almost golf ball sized (very unusual for me). Then by day 8 or 9 it all stopped. 3 days after it stopped (today) I had some light to moderate spotting. And I can't help but wonder if it was a miscarriage or something because it was so unusual.

Anyone have any ideas what could be going on. I had my tubes ties 5 years ago this Oct. what the heck is going on.

A golf ball size clot, wow. That does sound like something to be worried about, but if you had your tubes tied, I dunno. It could be just a really different cycle due to stress and different hormone levels. How old are you?

I'll be 28 on July. I had issues with my cycle in July of last year but it was different. I had a normal flow cycle that lasted 1-1 1/2mths. Not large clots (actually none). Got it taken care of and been no problems since then. This current cycle I have never ever been in.

Are you using BC or changed your BC? The reason I asked your age is because some changes can happen in the teen years and the menopausal years, but you aren't in either, so I'm guessing maybe a miscarriage....you should go to the doctor and get yourself checked out, especially since you have had problems before.

Also if you just had a miscarriage, they might be able to determine if you were pregnant and had a miscarriage because your hormone levels will still be up.

RebelCats,

Have you been to your gyn? You need to go. You should tell your doctor about the bleeding and the clot. Insist on a blood test for pregnancy and ultrasound. This could be a ectopic pregnancy. They are difficult to diagnose and are infrequent thus they are commonly misdiagnosed by doctors.

No I am not taking any BC I had my tubes tied almost 5 years ago.

I don't currently have a gyn. We don't really have insurance and there are no clinics around here, doctors refuse to work with patients on payments and such.

I am not in anymore pain that stopped after cycle day 7. And now the slight bleeding I had early has stopped.

Well as of tonight I am bleeding again and cramping. I went to take a shower and bam its there. The cramping did not hit until I got out of the shower. I have no idea what the heck is happening. I am gonna go in the morning and get a test and rule it this is some pregnancy thing or not. After that I have no idea what to do. Because chances a re this bleeding will only last a day or 2.

You should go see your doctor to rule out fibroid tumors. They are benign tumors that can cause clotting and excessive bleeding (flooding). Trust me when I tell you I know this. Wink

Right now I am not bleeding heavy. Its a little more than light spotting with cramps but not a full blown period.
