I was just wondering whether If a mind is strained from philosophical thought, that It could possible trigger a mental illness... An answer would be much appreciated... Cheers...

I don't think so unless the person was already genetically predisposed to schizophrenia or something.

no, if that was the cause a lot more people would have a mental illness.
