I am currently trying to find out as much info on Endo as possible as I am in so much pain and my doctor thinks I might have it. I will hopefully be getting a diagnostic laparoscopy soon to find out.

My question is, from what I have researched, that heavy painful periods is the main symptom. And I don't have this symptom, at least not yet. I have had the pelvic pain for close to 3 months now and have had 2 periods in that time (I'm waiting for my period to show up now) and neither were more painful or heavy than normal. I mean, the pelvic pain continued throughout but didn't increase in intensity.

Could it be anything besides Endo? I had a ultrasound and don't have any cysts. And I am not pregnant. My cycles are very irregular, differing anywhere from 29 to 45 days. My periods are short and not that heavy. The pain is not always in the same place, sometimes it is near my right ovary, sometimes down in the vulva area (not in my vagina, most often it is in my pelvis. It aches SO BAD!

A heavy peroid is not a sign of endem. I had it and the worst part was the pain during my cycle. I could hardly move. But after my cycle went away i got normal pain in my belly which was like normal cramping from before i had end. I also had pain during sex. I actually had very light peroids. They were always late never on time. I never had spotting either. Its diff for everyone i guess. but the laparoscopy isnt that bad at all i was good to go after like 4 days

I disagree. Heavy painful i mean very painful periods could be a sign of endo the only way to find out if you have it is by a laparoscopy and if they find it they will laser it away. my periods always have lasted 7-8 days and this started when i was 11. I had to be put in homeschool because of my condition im hopefully having a laparoscopy soon so they can fully diagnose me.
