heavy period and discharge after two weeks

in july i had a very heavy abnormal period, soaking a tampon in an hour or two. in august my period was "back to normal" but seemingly lighter. then two weeks after that i had a severe abdominal cramp which lasted a few minutes then an hour after that there was this thick blood like the one u have at the beginning of your period.i also got a fever on the same day(sore throat and blocked nose)with a severe headache for a few days. im still coughing even now. i put on a tampon and checked after some hours and found that very little blood had come out. same thing the following day. after a few days maybe three, a bloodish brownish comes out. its the eight day now its still there with the little amounts of blood. with the occassional cramp. whts wrong with me. otherwise im a healthy 26 year old. plis help.
