I had it a iui procedure done on may 14th and just started my period today may 25th . it is a heavy flowing period. does that mean that the iui procedure did not work . or could it be because only 1 egg fertilized in the others didn't so they've been released as a period. I am bleeding does that mean that it didn't take at all and would have to do it all over again .

Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you are having the bleeding around your ovulation time, it could indicate that IUI did not work. Visit your doctor/gynecologist for thorough evolution to look for the underlying cause. IUI works better if done along with ovulation inducers and HCG trigger injections. If IUI cycles fail, other techniques like IVF or ICSI can be tried. Be in regular follow-up and monitoring of your treating doctor/gynecologist and discuss about further treatment options to help you get pregnant.
