Q: Heavy bleeding - period ?

As a continuation from my old topic, my girlfriend was supposed to get her period today, but she got it yesterday morning instead. She said it was a heavy bleeding, and it felt like her normal period. She also has bad cramps. We had sex 3 days ago, but she was on the pill, and hadn't missed one. I did ejaculate inside her. We also had sex about 4 weeks ago right after her period, where she missed 2 pills but I didn't ejaculate. Could this really be her period? Or could the heavy bleeding be something else.

Why wouldn't it be her period? It sounds like it came on time and everything was regular. Wink

If you're worried about pregnancy, you can take a pregnancy test. She was probably protected the most recent time you had sex since she had been taking her pills correctly.

Next time, use a back up method when you KNOW she's missed pills.

Yeah I figure it's her period, but you know I'm a very paranoid person.

If you are a paranoid person, then you should use condoms in addition to the pill.

This is especially true since she has missed pills in the past. The pill works best if you take it at the same time every day.

I'm glad she talks to you about her pills and periods and that you don't just leave it up to her to worry about. This is both your responsibility. I'm glad you're being mature about it.

Yeah thanks Lydia, but do you personally think it is her period? :/

Yes. I do. Girls have irregular periods sometimes. They can come late or early.

I was just trying to keep you from having these issues in the future. Next time, she could be two days late. Then, you'd be even more worried. But I guess it's up to you if you want to worry every time her period doesn't come exactly on time.

Thank you =) I will definitely take your advice and use condoms as well as the pill.
