Hello Doctor,

I had undergone medical abortion on 10th October. Today is 24th and I am still bleeding, soaking about one pad daily. I passed my last clot on 21-22 October. The bleeding had reduced significantly till 19th, with minor spotting left.

On 19th I had a minor accident, in which I got hit against staircase railings. In this I hit my lower abdomen and felt little pain at that time. From the next day i.e. from 20th onwards my bleeding increased. This bleeding is different from that before 19th. Before 19th, the blood used to be thick and dark red, but now it is thin and almost bright red. I want to know, did this accident caused this problem? Or is this because of the process of medical abortion, where some women have to go for surgical methods?

I have my post-termination scan on 24th. I hope everything comes out fine.
Expecting an answer. Thanks in advance.
