I had the medical abortion 24 days ago, i experienced heavy bleeding and 'gushing' the first few days, then bleed like a normal period, 7 days after i was soaking 1-3 pads a hour, i had a scan and was told everything looked fine but my uterus still had blood in it. 21 days after i had a very painful and bad 'gush' of blood and went for yet another scan. The nurse said my uterus still showed some blood left but was told to book a doctors appointment asap to be swaped for infection and to have a blood test. My doctors couldnt get me in til monday, (its now saturday) and im 'gushing' and passing massive clots yet again, im tired and i have pain in my lower right hand side which i can touch.

Is it normal to pass clots and still have heavy bleeding 24 days after? I am worried now that i have to wait another 6 days before my doctor will have results of everything.
