Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
It is difficult to comment on the exact cause for the abnormal vaginal bleeding that you describe without examining you. If the bleeding has been persistent, or not coming down in intensity, it could suggest possibility of internal injuries. The other possibilities include vaginal infections, cervical dysplasia, hormonal derangements, endometritis, etc. Visit your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for thorough evaluation to look for the underlying cause (especially if symptoms have been persistent for more than 24 hours). Avoid masturbation/intercourse/introduction of foreign objects in vagina.
Take care.
